This pastel, an important example of his preparatory work, was exhibited at the J. Paul Getty Museum in both 2012 and 2015. A museum dedicated to Mucha’s legacy stands in Prague, and his work is held in major collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Art Institute of Chicago, among many others.
