In addition to being an artist himself, Lerolle played a significant role as a collector and advocate, supporting emerging talent and fostering dialogue between the visual arts and music. Today, his works belong to the prestigious collections worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
