Intricately crafted from rare Yogo sapphires and luminous pearls, this Edwardian bracelet is a work of elegance. The square step cut sapphires total 12.50 carats and are graded by the accompanying AGL report, originating from the famed Yogo Gulch, with no heat treatment enhancing their extraordinary natural color. The sapphires and pearls are highlighted by 0.50 carat of sparkling diamonds set within an intricate scrolling design, reflecting the refined elegance and airy sophistication that defined the Edwardian era, all crafted in platinum and 18K yellow gold.
Mined only from Yogo Gulch in Montana, Yogo sapphires display a vivid, uniform cornflower blue hue that is unique to sapphires from this region. Upon their discovery in the 1880s, famed Tiffany & Co. gemologist George Kunz described these sapphires as “the finest precious gemstones ever found in America.” Unlike most other sapphires, the Yogo sapphire's distinct color is weakened by heat treatments, meaning virtually all examples are left untreated and natural.
