The ruby is graded by its accompanying AGL report as unheated, meaning it has not undergone heat treatments to enhance its vibrant red hue. Such untreated rubies represent less than one percent of gem-quality rubies. The report also confirms its origins. The rare ruby is accented by a geometric, Art Deco-inspired halo, radiating with 1.19 carats of trapeze, bullet and round cut diamonds. Set in platinum.
